One of my favorite activities is exploring used bo One of my favorite activities is exploring used book stores in new places. There are SO many reasons to shop at used book stores. Here’s a few: 1. You’re supporting local economies. 2. It’s environmentally responsible. (There are nearly 2 billion new books printed annually- leaving quite the carbon footprint). 3. You save a ton of money. 4. You can find some real treasures. One time I even found a ten dollar bill in a book with a note to pay it forward and keep the tradition alive. 5. Used bookstores often support charities or other causes.
